Samantha Cumberbatch MBACP
Counsellor - Psychotherapist
My method of practice is person centred and integrative. My sessions are client-led to suit individual’s needs. I will give you the space to express yourself and feel autonomy within the client counsellor relationship.
Sometimes life brings us more than we expected or hoped for and at times we need someone to just STOP and listen and give us the space we need to explore our feelings which at times can feel overwhelming especially in the current climate that we are living in.
My professional experience includes working with adults, children, group work including professional development, advocacy, facilitation, and family therapy. I also have experience of parent and child advocacy, school-based counselling, partnerships with Local Authorities and the NHS.
About my Services
What is a Therapist?
Therapists are qualified and trained to provide an objective view in a way that you might not get from family or friends. Everything you discuss with your therapist will be confidential, which will be discussed in your first session.
Your therapist will be non-judgemental, neutral, and will do their best to listen to you and understand what you are going through. Therapists have been trained in specific techniques and strategies to help you to deal with life problems. Therapy can provide you with a safe space. Your therapist will tailor the sessions to suit you and your needs.
Fees for sessions are directly invoiced to the insurance company for payment
